Portland Receives: Deron Williams $5M $5M 2017 VAN 2nd Contract of Ersan Ilyasova $1M
Total: $6M
Vancouver Receives: Nik Stauskas $1.5M $1.5M $1.5M Furkan Korkmaz $.6M $.7M
Total: $1.5M
I was planning on waiving Stauskas eventually and I don't really have room for Korkmaz even if he does come over. I can replenish my stock of draft stashes with Vancouver's second and clear up some roster space at the same time. Beyond assets, this trade fosters some good faith between the Grizzlies and the Trail Blazers.
I accept.

My first move is a practical step to cut costs and get a younger less expensive player in return in stauskas. Furkan brings hope and a free 99 price tag so what could be better. Deron Williams doesn't make sense on this team so if he can find a home in Portland, I wish him well. Building bridges, saving money, I accept!

Blazers have the ultimate 2010 team with Rajon Rondo, Deron Williams and Chris Bosh.
I like this trade for the Grizzlies, they cut cap space and receive better players while only giving up a second round pick.
I accept.

Blazers just love tanking. Almost as much as the Hornets.
I think both teams get what they need out of this deal. A real win/win.
I accept.
