Lakers send
Justice Winslow 2.20 / 2.30/ 2.90/ 3.90 2019 1st rounder (POR) 2020 2nd rounder
Portland sends
Maurice Harkless 3/3/3/3 Wade Baldwin IV 2.20/ 2.30/ 2.40/ 3.0/ 4.1
I accept this trade, I am giving up Winslow which I am not to worried about. I am getting Harmless and Baldwin two very promising young players that are able to help me this year and years to come. I am also giving up a 2019 portland 1st rounder but I believe Portland will be a good team by 2019 and that pick won't have much value, I also throw in a 2nd rounder to sweeten the deal. I have gotten a lot of trade offers for Winslow but nothing close to this good. I believe this trade will take shape in 2019 when the picks start to get involved.

In spite of Mo' Problems Mo' Harkless demonstrating stellar play this year as the third option on the real life Blazers, this is absolutely not in line with the policies set forth by the Basketball Guru Portland Trail Blazers. His subordination means he's gotta go. On the other hand, Private Baldwin has been proficient in his stint here, but unfortunately Conley going down means his production's going ramp up somewhat.
We'll be trading him for The Honorable Justise Winslow who has demonstrated a particularly distinct ability in the art of tanking. The picks in addition to Winslow make this a fantastic deal.
I accept.

Kind of surprising to see LA give up on Winslow so soon. A lot of Heat fans expect him to to be the Miami Heat's future and he looked to only be getting better. He has much more potential than Harkless and you have to think Winslow will have more opportunity on a dilapidated Miami Heat squad.
Harkless is averaging 22.7 FPPG with Aminu currently out and Winslow is averaging 25.6 FPPG. Winslow is also three years younger.
On top of that, Portland is also getting his 2019 first rounder back and a 2nd rounder in 2020.
From what I've heard about Wade Baldwin, he seems like an arrogant player who clashes with coaches. He also has a very concerning injury history. It'll be interesting to see what he does with 20-25 minutes a game with Conley out.
I accept.

I really think LA is sending the two best assets in this deal away. While Winslow's offence really is terrible, that can always improve especially considering his above average defence and natural athletic ability. Winslow was putting up solid numbers in his 2nd year before he got injured so I'm not too sure why Lakers was so desperate to trade him. I guess there is always a chance Harkless and Baldwin will turn out to be better than Winslow but at this point in time, I can't see that happening. Seeing as he also threw in a 2019 1st from Portland, I think there is a clear winner in this deal.
While one team definitely got the better end of this trade, I'm still accepting it.
