While I understand where the Kings are coming from on this deal, the Wolves are giving up no assets in the deal for a top 4 pick.

Taking on an additional 6.5M and then the contract of the player so its essentially signing an unknown player for 10M.
I accept the offer

Hey guys,
This trade will be queued and we will come back to it after the reload draft.
In the future, please title your threads with the name of both teams. For example, this thread would be titled Wolves - Kings or Minnesota - Sacramento.

I'm definitely going to need to hear SAC explain themselves on this one. If you were to waive Carl Landry his contract would be $3,250,000 for the next two years. I don't see $3,250,000 making a difference in free-agency.

I just didn't want the burden of Landry's salary similar to my deal with Dallas.

Sorry guys but I’m gonna reject. The Kings already have $31.6M in cap room and the #4 pick is one the most valuable assets the team has.

Ah so this is going to be one of thoseee leagues...
Glad vetoing isn't only for collusion?

I'm going to accept this deal. If both parties are on board, then fine. Sacramento clearly doesn't want Landry's cap space even with with 50% gone when waived. I don't see why a trade would be declined when both teams have motivation to make the deal.
Looks like it'll come down to New Orleans...

Looking at it objectively, I do see where Orlando is coming from and completely understand his decision, it makes sense

I think that teams should be allowed to make whatever deals they feel are in the best interests of their teams. Trades can have a winner and a loser in the future, and you can only speculate as to who it will be. Since the Wolves and the Kings both agreed on this deal and I do not believe it to be collusion.
I accept the deal.
