Minnesota Receives: Justise Winslow 2.20 2.30 2.90 3.90 Langston Galloway 1.20 2016 second rounder (#17)
Golden State Receives
Zach LaVine 2.20 3.20 4.40 Josh Richardson 1.00 1.00 1.00
I agree to this trade because it brings me an incredible prospect in Justise Winslow. He looks good, is in line to take on more of his team's workload in the near future, is on a good contract, and fits in development-wise with my core of Towns/Wiggins/Randle. I'll have some tough decisions to make, re-sign wise, in the coming years, but that was already a thing and this doesn't really make it worse. This move also allows me to give Galloway a year to find a spot in the rotation (Calderon has to realize he's old sooner or later), and affords me a high second rounder for good measure.
LaVine is a good player, and is entirely likely to improve with new coaching. My team is pretty T-Wolves heavy, though, and relying so much on one NBA team from week to week seems like a possible weakness. I am high on Richardson, too, despite commentary on my previous trade, but the things that have me excited about him are true of Winslow, too--mainly, they're young and Miami is old.

Accept. I am very high on both LaVine and Richardson. Zach has shown that he is not only a dunker, but also a player with a complete game. There's risk with the new coaching but the upside is there. Josh is a promising player with a bright future. He will soon be a featured scorer on Miami, whose main jumpshooters are either old or unhealthy (Wade, Bosh, Deng, Joe Johnson, Gerald Green). It will be tough to let go of Winslow because he's even more important to Miami as an all-around contributor and defensive stud. Galloway is also promising and he has the versatility to play both guard spots. And even though I gave up the top pick in the second round, I still prefer three guaranteed years of LaVine and Richardson.

I think this is about as fair as trades get. I personally prefer Justise Winslow over Zach LaVine but I can see an argument for LaVine just as well.
Well done. I accept.
