Lakers Send Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - 8.30 $3.30m in cap space Pelicans 2017 2nd rounder
Magic Sends for #7
I accept this trade for the following reason , I won't be using a re-sign on MKG next year so I might as well get young promising talent in return witch ill pick , also the MGK shoulder injury could be back next year witch I don't want to take a risk on.

I accept. MKG's PER 36 numbers during his return: 15.8/11.8. He went 16-29 from the field, 2-3 from downtown, 9-16 from the FT line, and he's played All-NBA caliber defense in every second of the 98 minutes he's played through the three games. I expect some rust, and I expect his offense to regress after the surgery but I like the risk.

Only worried about what will happen with the Magic and their health insurance premiums with the recruitment of MKG. Good job trading, Lakers getting some extra cap space will also help during free agency.
I accept.

I'm a big fan of MKG, but he has so many health issues. It will be interesting to look back and see who won this deal in a couple years.
I accept.
