I am jubilant to announce that with the first trade of the Basketball Guru 2016 Off-Season, the Portland Trailblazers welcome the promising point guard, Delon Wright, to the roster as well as the acquisitions of the Minnesota Timberwolves' 1st and 2nd round picks.
The organization would also like to wish T.J. Warren and Josh Richardson the best in their future NBA careers. It was a tough decision, but we felt that this was an opportunity that we could not pass up.
Minnesota Receives: Josh Richardson (1.00 1.00 1.00) T.J. Warren (2.10 3.20 4.40) New Orleans 2016 1st round pick
Total: 3.10 4.20 5.40
Portland Receives: Delon Wright (1.40 1.50 2.30 3.30) Minnesota 2016 1st round pick Minnesota 2016 2nd round pick
Total: 1.40 1.50 2.30 3.30

At the cost of reducing our involvement in this year's draft, we upgrade a couple of roster spots by bringing in a pair of talented young players who are already proving to be contributors at an NBA level. We expect these players to break into our rotation sooner rather than later as we look to strengthen our bench. Factoring in the salaries the draft picks would command, we also gain a small but not insignificant bit of separation from the cap. We look forward to seeing Delon develop as well, and wish him the best of luck with his new team.

I think Portland is getting the better deal here. He's acquiring the 4th overall while giving up TJ Warren and Josh Richardson who will probably be role players and not worthy of a resign while the 4th overall will almost certainly be a starting NBA player who has a much greater chance of being resigned than Warren or Richardson.
I'd be reluctant to pass this trade if Minnesota did not have the assets that it does but I don't think this trade cripples the organization.

Yeah Delon Wright, Pick 4 and 20 for Pick 16, Josh Richardson and TJ Warren seems a bit towards Portland, but Richardson and Warren have proved they can be at least solid rotation guys in the league. Draft picks come with potential failure and success.
I'd prefer to be on Portland's side of the deal, but it isn't overly one sided.
I accept.
