Dallas and San Antonio have agreed to the following trade.
Dallas Sends: Lamarcus Aldridge San Antonio sends: Marcin Gortat + 2016 First Round Pick
This trade provides Dallas with a productive centre in Gortat, young talent through the draft and financial flexibility which they can use the strengthen their roster. Aldridge can be a an extremely productive player but, as we have seen, playing for the spurs has limited his production making his contract exorbitant.
San Antonio is willing to gamble on his future production by taking on his hefty contract.

I accept. I'm looking to take my team in a very different direction this offseason, and this will be one of many moves.

I think this makes sense for both teams. San Antonio ends up with $7m in cap space now, this is under the assumption the Al Horford resign goes through, and Dallas sheds $4m.
Good work gents. I accept.

Seems like a good trade all around. Drop some cap while not losing too much production. Also, being able to part with Gortat's contract would be a weight off my mind.
I accept.
