The Orlando Magic send: CHI 2016 1st round NOP 2016 1st round CHI 2016 2nd rounder $5M
Total: -$5m
The Portland TrailBlazers send: Jahlil Okafor 4.40 4.60 5.80 7.60 Nerlens Noel 4.40 5.80 Kobe Bryant 4.00 Mario Hezonja 2.10 2.10 2.80 3.90 Draft Rights to Dario Saric
Total: $14.90m
The Orlando Magic accept. After long and emotion-filled negotiations with the Portland TrailBlazers, the Magic are very happy to finally get a deal done. This continues to add assets to the rebuilding Magic to hopefully lead us to contention one day.

Portland also accepts. Despite giving up a bevy of talent, I'm confident that with a top prospect in this draft to complement Jabari Parker as well as C.J. McCollum, the Portland Trailblazers will be poised for plenty of future championship runs. We also gain significant cap relief to make a run at free agents.

I do believe that Orlando is definitely getting the better end of the deal here though. He's acquiring players that went 3rd overall, a 5th overall, and 6th overall in much better draft years while giving up Chicago's pick was will probably land around 2nd (basically equivalent to the 3rd overall) and two other low draft picks. He gains a lot of cap relief but I'm not sure whether that is worth the loss in talent. I don't think he gave up enough to veto though and it does make sense if he wants to make a run at a couple free agents so I will accept.
