I love Cason Wallace. Dariq Whitehead *might* be the next Harry Giles/AJ Griffin, but if he's not then right about now is the time to bet on it. Marcus Sasser is tiny and adorable but, like, also an NBA player at least. Most of all though, I like this return more than what I'm going to get for Pascal on an expiring contract, and we're right about out of contenders that have the space to trade for him this year.

Such a good trade for the Suns. Siakam and Minnesota’s first round draft pick for two alright players. This trade may become more fair depending on where/if Siakam is traded but as of now I definitely prefer Suns’ side of the deal. Minnesota continues adding young pieces to a roster nowhere near contention.
I approve.

I have not been able to shake the feeling that this trade is a scam. Wolves asked me to be willing to serve as a tie breaking vote on the trade committee the very day before he puts this disgusting trade in front of me and asks me to pass judgment on it. In my mind, he's asked me to rubber-stamp his own destruction. The trade is gross. But who am I to stop Minnesota from hurting himself? If the purpose of the trade committee is to prevent teams from harming themselves so as to not make the team unattractive to a future participant, then this trade certainly requires a lot of scrutiny. Nonetheless, I have to take Wolves' role and level of involvement into account. The odds of Wolves pulling an old Pels appears pretty limited. He's the commish!
I may be inclined to intervene and prevent this tragedy from affecting a lesser involved manager, but since Wolves is around for the long haul, I will let this pass, even if his team is damaged by it, for no other reason than to serve as a reminder to him that he should not have throw in his own future 1st on top of a ~top 50 asset for a bunch of middling fringe 2nd round pick players. At least Wolves will eb able to do ... something with the extra cap space.
