New Orleans Pelicans Receive Trayce Jackson-Davis Kris Murray
San Antonio Spurs Receive Cole Anthony
I was originally just assessing the price of people's assets. Turns out that Cole Anthony was available for a price that I liked. Although TJD is solid when he gets minutes, I don't expect that his value will get much higher than how Pelicans feels about him right now, so I felt comfortable selling.

i feel like this is a big win for Pelicans, and the first L for Spurs.
i think Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black are the future of the Magic, and there's Fultz... I just don't see the value or upside of Cole Anthony and think he will eventually lose minutes not gain them.
Trayce Jackson-Davis is putting up nice FPPG as a rookie at a position the GSW are somewhat scarce in while the Warriors have limited asssets and are way over the cap and need rookie scale guys desperately... that's the guy I want by a mile. he looks good and has a lot of upside with multiple years of rookie scale left.
He has already built up a rapport with Podz and GSW needs an injection of youth as their veterans fall off and struggle (Klay, Wiggins... basically everyone but Curry) and TJD has a nice opportunity to emerge as a starting player or star.
I'm honestly shocked the Spurs gave TJD up for this.
Even worse, TJD has a 4 years, 0.5m contract, and Cole is two years 3m a year expiring soon. Yikes!
I approve!

Im just doing my part to help SAS complete a trade with each GM before his first deadline.
I wasnt planning on picking up Cole's option this summer anyway, and I actually like TJD's chances to blossom into something that makes the long minimum contract an asset.

I approve, and wish Guru Spurs' legend Kris Murray all the best in his new home.
