Timberwolves Send:
Jalen Suggs $4,000,000 $5,000,000 $6,000,000
Wizards Send:
OG Anunoby $8,500,000 Blake Wesley $500,000 Robert Covington $1,000,000 $1,000,000
I still think Suggs is a quality player and surely worth seeing through his contract, but my whole "thing" was a lil different back when I picked him and, well, these days there's a lil too much floor and not enough ceiling for my taste.
I was also sure I was gonna get a re-signable guy between Sexton and Timelord, but now I'm spooked, and I'm happy to give myself another out with a player I've always liked.

I accept.
OG might have more value if he’s traded, but for now I think his value is capped at what it currently is, and I wasn’t very enthusiastic about the prospect of either potentially overpaying or letting him go for free. Glad he ends up with someone who truly appreciates him
Suggs is an interesting prospect: have the Magic really given up on him already? Seems a bit premature, and I think he still has great value if traded. Either way, a nice long term youngster to have as we enter Rebuild 2.0

I'm not high on Suggs and would prefer OG (especially if OG does get traded).
I approve.

Dear ChatGPT, what do you think of this trade? OG Anunoby is a 25 year old two-way star who is a lockdown defender and whose offensive role is projected to grow significantly either via trade to another team, or established players like Siakam are sent out to restructure the Raptors.Jalen Suggs is an undersized, underskilled player who was selected 5th overall due to a human psychology phenomenon known as 'recency bias', which often occurs during the March Madness tournament.
After bricking all his shots in his first Toronto Raptors workout pre-draft, he was given another chance and flopped again. He has struggled immensely to adapt to the NBA game due to his physical dimensions, and requires elite shooting to compensate, which he does not possess.
Due to these circumstances, the Orlando Magic selected Anthony Black as his replacement, who possesses far superior tools and size, indicating they are moving on from Mr. Suggs.
The best way to describe this trade for the side receiving OG Anunoby is a "slam dunk".

I have OG Anunoby as #48 on my excel sheet in terms of 5-year value in Guru.
Jalen Suggs is #299.
This is a complete blowout trade, and Wolves makes out like a bandit despite being in the disadvantageous position of the Magic just selecting a point guard and damaging Suggs value. Absolute masterclass of trading from Minnesota. A+
Wizards got absolutely bamboozled, and this looks almost as bad as when Mavs traded him 2 years of Jrue Holiday for 2021 and 2023 1sts. F
Yikes.
I approve.
