Got rid of George Hill and got an extremely good combo guard on a nice contract. I accept, including the GRIII and Etwaun edit

This trade is a travesty. This is, of course, mostly because the Wizards pay twice as much as they should after clearly not shopping these assets around to our commissioner who would, were the receiving party any other GM, balk at the return for these picks from a franchise that doesn't exactly have a track record that inspires confidence. Sure. But I think I'm even more disgusted by Mavs' continued disinterest in competing--in no way was it necessary to trade Jrue for them, and it's not like they need to be cycling down for a rebuild. I approve in the sense that this trade would make sense if these teams were in opposite places, but I disapprove of both of you and you should be ashamed.

Hahahaha. Fantastic summary by the Timberwolves. And 10 days later, mine will be a lot lot worse. 2 first round picks, for Jrue. It is a good contract, but it is only for 2 more years, then you need get that awkward question of, do you re-sign a 31 year old PG who is on the decline? But yet, you've already sunk a large enough amount of picks in this player.
I approve. But I 100% agree with the Wolves. Teams that want to compete, and stop building for millennia through the draft, should have Jrue and not 2 more 1st rounders. That said. I approve.

I get that we’re not vetoing trades, but yikes this one is awful.
