I accept.
It’s about time Lowry came back to Toronto. Murray is young with a lot of potential, but Lowry is a stable starting guard and Bryant is a young cheap contract. Plus investing in the Raps future with more picks.

Just to save you the suspense: I approve.
My gut-check reaction to this is that it's awful. We are not very far removed from Lowry being traded for a distant future first and cap relief, and Jamal Murray could certainly have pulled down some stronger assets (I'd really be interested to see what you could have had if you'd shopped him around a bit). Second rounders range from "mildly useful" to "meaningless," and I do not believe in Thomas Bryant.
On the other hand, maybe Thomas Bryant won't need to play defense or rebound and can stay on the court for the next three years as the Wizards devolve into a complete shitshow. Maybe Kyle Lowry will slowly decline into a league-average role instead of falling off a cliff like we all assume he will. And we changed second round contracts--maybe they'll be more useful now? It's even in the much-hyped potential "double draft." Oh, and maybe Jamal Murray is overrated. I especially like that take. Effing Nuggets.
I wouldn't make this trade, but I can see why someone would. Besides, my father Damian Lillard and I really can't cast stones at someone who wants to buy stock in a player they really like. SO yeah, I approve.

I think the Suns have done extremely well out of this. The only issue to win GM of the year, these trades need to be made closer to the voting time. Although, I guess some could say he won the more important trophy in the league.
Really well done getting rid of Lowry's contract, opening up cap room and bringing in Jamal Murray. A+ Trading.
In terms of the other way. Not sure about this for the Raptors. At best, you get Lowry who is lovable, but no doubt is aging, he will still at worst average 20+ fppg, but no matter what that contract will turn very ugly at some point in the next 3 seasons. Bryant showed flashes last season and has great potential, but the gap between his best and worst game is huge. That said, having him locked in for 3 years at basically the minimum is a great contract.
I approve.
