Total Incoming: $23,900,000 Total Outgoing: $21,100,000
At first glance I wasn't quite sure about this trade letting go of Winslow specifically. The centerpieces are obviously Klay for Randle. Randle is a bit younger and averages a bit more, so that's why the compromise on winslow. I do get back a couple of wing pieces who I think can be good in Waiters and Evans. The 1st rounder is really what allowed me to part with winslow. Its also a net positive cap trade for me.
I accept.

I accept.
Klay gives me a major superstar for my stretch run. Winslow’s versatile and contributes in multiple categories and Holidays a young talent that I’m interested in.
Also frees me of the Waiters/Evans salaries which I didn’t really want to pay. Yes I take on Semi, but I’ll live.

I approve. The popular reaction seems to be that the pick and Randle are the most valuable assets here, and that’s my gut check too. But if Klay is the guy Grizz wants to re-sign, I can all the way see how he justifies the move. It’s not like Winslow isn’t a positive at this point, too.

I'd like to clarify that one of those repeated Ellis contracts should be replaced by:
Pascal Siakam $500,000

Boston definitely gets the better end of the deal here. Not enough to reject though.
I approve.

I just can never see Klay's game getting worse. The man is the 3rd banana in the best offence ever. Great re-sign. And Winslow is showing a lot, whether he can maintain it remains to be seen, but I also like the deal from both sides. Although, if I'm choosing a winner, I'd prefer to be the Grizzly here.
I approve.
