Why is it that I am always involved in the trade?
DENVER TRADES:
Ricky Rubio 14.8 New Orleans' 2020 1st round pick
Isaac Bonga waived contract .5 and .5 Jordan Crawford waived contract .5 and .5 Alan Williams waived contract .5 and .5
Total: 16.3, 1.5
MILWAUKEE TRADES:
Jeff Teague 10, 10, (10) Milwaukee's 2022 2nd rounder
Total: 10, 10, and (10)
I accept. Rubio can be expected, in my opinion, to score roughly equivalent fantasy points as Teague. He's a bit younger though, and may be worth a 7.5-9 million resign next year if he continues his hot pace from the end of last season. Of course, I can't resign him. For me, this comes down to securing some production at a cheaper price. I don't believe that Teague is worth 10 million, and really don't believe he will be worth it next year, but I'll give up a 1st rounder to save the money now and try to create some value from the cap space. Milwaukee gets another 1st to challenge Dallas in next year's draft hierarchy and saves some cash for next offseason too.

Appreciation to the Nuggets for writing this up while I attempt to master everything related to cardiovascular and learn glycolysis one more motherfucking time.
I accept, seems like the Teague signing wasn't what I had hoped it to be (had seattle not fucking outbid me when I had him around 8 I would've kept him). I do ultimately take on more contract in order to get that pick, and could possibly re-sign Rubio if it makes sense (would be the second re-sign of 2 I have remaining to use this off-season, probably shouldn't throw them away)

Doesn't seem like a bad deal. Pelicans' won't be winning a championship any time soon (that choke artist!) but his team will remain competitive and a perennial playoff team. Teague should be decent, albeit overpaid, but I trust Denver to do some maneuvering to make the bit of cap relief count.
I approve

I approve. Bucks needed out of some long term money. Denver wants more fliers. Way to get those goals!

We got ourselves a trade!
I approve. Pelicans 2020 1st round pick will basically be an early 2nd rounder as this quick little repackaging year will conclude and we will rocket up the standings next year.
Other than that, I agree, Teague is a bit worse than Rubio, but at that price, I think it is fair enough. Although the 10m for Teague next year may look a bit worse than it does this year.
