DENVER trades:
Nothing
Boston trades:
Al Jefferson 4.5 million waived Jordan Crawford .5 .5 million waived BOS 2022 1st Round pick
I accept. I had every intention of using my new cap space to sign free agents, but wanted to see if there was value to be had on a pick. I know this one is four years away, but I like the value provided.

Clear a chunk of cash to maybe make a few bids, or have some room to make in-season pickups, you never know. In any case, 4 years out my core will be mainly all in their primes. I trust my plan, and the fact that I can create value with the cap space. All money on my team at the moment will be actively towards players playing.

Bold move by Boston, I don’t know how well it’ll pan out though. Even if Boston’s got the best squad in four years that pick will probably be worth a lot more than $5 million. That’s a long time from now though, and if any asset’s value is as relative as a pick’s, it’s cap space. Lotta things you can buy with five million that would be worth a pick. I approve.

I approve.
Personally, I think a 1st round pick should carry a bit more weight than 5.0m in waived contracts, but fair play for getting that deal done.
