I approve this resign.
I believe his resign value is actually at $11.5m if you use 2016/17 numbers but I'm inclined to approve this anyways given there is some risk involved. The nature of the injury and all indicators point to Gordon Hayward returning back to his previous self. With news that he's already practicing and ahead of players with similar injuries leads me to believe that this valuation (obtained from using the numbers from his last health season) is fair.
1-0. Since the calculator gives a different salary than the one Memphis has posted, TC needs to vote and decide on this resign.

I approve! If Hayward were my player, I'd maybe have even lobbied for a couple million lower, but I do think this contract will wind up plenty valuable. Good use of a re-sign.

While I think there is risk, I don't think I can make a satisfactory case to reduce the salary by 2 million per year. I don't think its the huge upside value signing of the century, but I think he'll continue to produce numbers that justify this contract.
