My roster is top heavy and bottom heavy, so I think it's important for me to always add quality pieces when I can without giving up much.
This is essentially a Reggie for Klay swap. I feel as though Klay is about as consistent of a 30ish fppg scorer as you get, he's in his prime. And if GS were to ever brake up he would only have upside. That's someone worthy of a resign if I don't find anything else.
Reggie may hit close averages, but he is just to injury prone to ever rely on in some capacity. Not worthy of a resign so I wanted to get value.
Another factor is that I rid myself of Parsons contract for two years. That really opens up my books next year where Klay gets a cheaper contract and in another year Irving will get a cheaper contract.
To even things out I send out a 1st Rounder, but I think denver may be a good team by 2021 and the draft isn't a guarantee anyways.
I accept.

I approve.I really like Klay as a re-sign target for next year, as I'm with Celtics on his value only standing to increase over the next few seasons. Reggie Jackson and a first is an easy price to pay and an okay return, I guess, and Chandler Parsons' contract isn't going to meaningfully hurt a franchise that seems to have no intentions on rostering anything but rookie contracts long term.

"Rostering anything but rookie contracts" Someone please get the Mavs to the hospital. I'm not as high on Klay as some people are. I think he is a fantastic player, but I don't think it translates into the real BG game. He will be 29 at the end of next season, his game should age well, but I still don't know if that will be worthy of a re-sign, as he will be likely the 3rd or 4th banana on this Warriors team for a while. So I'd take the Mavs side on this deal. A 1st rounder, get back into the Reggie show (who knows what will happen there), and Parsons (unfortunately probably finished, unless he gets some solid stem cell treatment on those knees). As such, I think both sides of the deal are as bad as each other But, the gambles could pay off for either team. I approve.
