Basketball Guru’s Team Of The Week (Week 1) New York Knicks !
This week's Basketball Guru Team of the Week Award goes to the New York Knicks
The Knicks (1-0) pulled off a very impressive win against San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks were led to victory by former MVP Russell Westbrook , Stephen Curry and rookie Ben Simmons. The Knicks look like they are in great shape to make a deep playoff run especially when teams are already saying how scary they are to go up against. The Knicks will continue their season next week against the Toronto Raptors another playoff hopeful team.
Team stats- PTS 498/ STL 28 / AST 115 / DREB180/ OREB 38

Congrats to the New York Knicks on being named Basketball Guru's Team of the Week, and thanks to the Los Angeles Lakers for the post. The Knicks dad-dicked the Drunk Spurs, who very much appreciate the spell check their web browser is currently providing them. How did the Knickerbockers do it? The Porzingis-booing Big Apple had a very strong off-season, acquiring last season's MVP, Russell Westbrook, whilst re-signing Steph Curry, and trading for DeAndre Jordan, correctly predicting his bump in production with CP3's migration to the Kobe desert (aka Houston). They also held on Carmelo, despite declining production, which was rewarded by solid stats in OKC, despite being part of a Triumvirate that would make Caesar, Pompei, and Marcus Crassus blush. The Lopez trade didn't affect his stats, while the signing of Maple Dick Olynyk, I DIDN'T SEND THOSE HOMOPHOBIC TEXTS I WAS HACKED (uh huh, sure buddy) Al-Farouq Aminu, and Joe Ingles were successes. Moreover, the draft of Ben Simmons the previous season proved an instant success, as the stat sheet gets stuffed harder than Angela White in a Brazzers video when he's on the court. NYK has turned into the frontrunner for the 2017-2018 championship, and I wish him nothing but the worst.
